Coastal Housing Partnership financial assistance programs can help you overcome some of the common obstacles to homeownership. As a Coastal Housing member employee, you are eligible to save money when purchasing a home, refinancing a mortgage or leasing a new apartment.

Home Purchase Closing Cost Savings
The Homebuyer’s Assistance Program makes buying a home more affordable by reducing the closing costs associate with the purchase of you home. Closing cost contributions are offered by an extensive list of local service providers including real estate agents, home inspection companies and lenders.
Home Buying Education
Home buying education seminars are available to employees of member companies. Attend a free workshop to find out how to get stared in the home buying process, learn about the steps of loan approval, qualifying for a loan, how much of a loan you can afford and ho to select the team to help you buy a home.
Refinancing a Mortgage
If you are planning to refinance your mortgage, check out Coastal Housing’s Mortgage Assistance Program. This program can save you hundreds of dollars in up front costs over the life of your loan. We have contracted with a number of lenders that have agreed to waive some of the upfront fees associate with a mortgage refinance. Renting an Apartment
Coastal Housing has partnered with several local landlords to offer monthly rental reductions. These landlords have agreed to reduce the monthly market rent on new leases staring at $50 /month for a studio or one bedroom and $75 / month for a two or more bedroom. Simply call the participating landlords, let them know you are part of Coastal Housing and ask which of their units are eligible for the program. Letter of Authorization
In order to utilize the Coastal Housing Financial Assistance programs, you will need a Letter of Authorization from Coastal Housing verifying that you are an employee of a member company. Fill out a short application and sent it to the Coastal Housing office to obtain your Letter of Authorization.
